NCCP Certification

All Ontario Basketball Association rep team coaches must be certified with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). The Learn-to-Train certification is required for all coaches. The Train-to-Train certification is required for U13 and older head coaches. To review your certification:

• Go to www.coach.ca.
• Click on The Locker menu tab.
• Login to your NCCP account.
• Click on PROFILE menu tab.
• Click on CERTIFICATION in the sub-menu.

Application

Those who wish to be considered for either a Head Coach or Assistant Coach position are required to complete and submit this online application for the upcoming year's teams. Submission deadline is the end of June.

Coach Selection

The Collingwood Trailblazers coach selection committee will review the coach applications as well as the number of player signups at each age division. Successful candidates will be notified by some time in August.

Vulnerable Sector Check

Successful candidates will need to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check, using the online application. The link is here. You will need to download then upload the Club letter (link below).
